Broomstick Lace

I posted a picture of my broomstick lace, hat and neck warmer set on my what's your favourite post and I was surprised that it did not receive a vote, as it was one of my favourites. So I have taken another picture for what may be a better view.
First Picture View.

Second Picture View.

It may be just the camera not showing how lovely and almost intricate the broom stick lace effect is.

Crochet Market Sellers

Here are just a few more crocheted items for the market.
I have much more to do and more designs in my head.
I may get around to writing the patterns for the more popular items.
I have not used a pattern for any of these.
I have also made sure that all of the neckwarmers are of a soft and non itchy yarn.
Blue and Sparkly Pink. Reverseable Neckwarmer.

Pretty Blue. Reverseable Neckwarmer.

Brown and Cream Shell. Reverseable Neckwarmer.

Blue with Beige Buttons, wrap around to button up. Neckwarmer.

Burnt Orange and barrel buttons. Neckwarmer.

Blue Flowered Set, hard to see the flowers.

Very Soft Brown Set.

Black and Purple Set.

Very Soft Black Set, I have one in Dark Burgundy too.

Green and Cream Trio Set, not very popular colours, so I have made these a trio.

I really like the green hat, I tried it on and it looks great. I have used a pop corn and puff stitch on these hats.

Button Mania

I bought this stash of buttons from Trash and Treasure for $3.00.

I'd say there is about 100 or so.

They were a little dirty and smelt.

I have washed them and they still smell, so they are now soaking in eucalyptus oil.

I am sitting quite a distance from them and I can smell them from here!

So I'm sure they'll come up a treat!

Just a few varieties

UPDATE!

So I cleaned the buttons and got them smelling nicer. The eucalyptus oil was not a good idea as it tended to melt the plastic on some buttons. I also got around to sorting them into coloured groups and I counted them. Guess how many? Well in total there was 436!

126 blue, 80 grey, 135 brown/red shades, 114 green and 81 black & assorted .

Tie Front Sweater from Positively Crochet

This tie front sweater is a pattern from the positively crochet pattern book.

Great pattern book I must add.

The top of the sweater is a very nice fit.

You can make it the length you want.

I made the large size and used 100% 8ply wool, with a size 5.00 and 6.00 mm hook.

The top part is also done in double strands (which makes it nice and warm)

and the lower part in single strand. Hence the 2 sizes of hooks.

Below is a picture of the matching hat and neck warmer I made.

This is the book and the pattern is on page 61. I recommend this book to any one thinking of purchasing it.
